About Soliyana
¡Hola! I'm Soliyana, a passionate Spanish tutor with a unique blend of academic excellence and cultural immersion. My journey with Spanish began in childhood, growing up bilingual and attending a Spanish school from nursery through secondary education. This foundation, coupled with my A-Level Spanish achievement (Grade A), has given me a deep, nuanced understanding of the language.

As a bilingual Spanish tutor, I bring language to life through immersive and engaging lessons. My teaching methodology combines:
1. Conversation-driven learning: We'll spend significant time speaking Spanish, building confidence and fluency.
2. Cultural insights: I weave in Spanish and Latin American culture, history, and current events to deepen understanding.
3. Customized curriculum: Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether it's exam preparation, travel readiness, or professional development.
4. Interactive activities: Games, role-playing, and multimedia resources keep lessons dynamic and fun.
Lessons typically run 60-90 minutes, providing ample time for immersive practice and detailed feedback. For intensive exam preparation, I offer extended 2-hour sessions to ensure comprehensive coverage and boost confidence.
My qualifications include:
- Native-level fluency (half-Spanish background)
- A-Level Spanish (Grade A)
- Spanish education from nursery through secondary school
- Current Philosophy and Sociology undergraduate, bringing interdisciplinary perspectives
Whether you're a primary school student beginning your Spanish journey, an A-Level candidate aiming for top marks, or an adult learner seeking to enhance your skills, I'm here to guide you towards Spanish fluency with patience, enthusiasm, and expertise.
