About Belgica
Hi! I'm a bilingual Spanish-English speaker who grew up speaking Spanish at home while learning English at school in the United States. Having experienced learning a second language myself, I know how challenging but rewarding the process can be.
I'm currently a college student majoring in Communications with a focus on media. I've always been interested in creativity, human connection, and understanding how people communicate with one another.
Although I'm new to tutoring professionally, I've enjoyed helping friends in college practice their Spanish, prepare for exams, and work through their assignments. Those experiences inspired me to share my language and culture with others.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy reading, writing, painting, and exploring different forms of art. I would describe myself as patient, understanding, and someone who loves a good laugh. I'm excited to meet new people and share a little piece of my culture along the way!

I am a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, and my lessons are designed for beginners who want to feel more comfortable with basic Spanish. I understand what it feels like to learn a language, so I create a supportive space where students can make mistakes, ask questions, and practice at their own pace. My lessons focus on simple conversation, everyday vocabulary, and pronunciation.
