About Stella Grania
I was born in Seville, Spain where I attended school until I finished Bachillerato (Spanish equivalent of A Levels). With an American mother and British father, I grew up speaking English at home and Spanish at school. I spent summer and winter holidays with family in France where I experienced rural life and picked up French.
In 2017 I moved to London and began my sociology studies at Goldsmiths College where I stayed until I completed my Masters in Visual Sociology.

When learning a new language, I believe that developing confidence when speaking is crucial. Confidence is best attained through practice.
What I am offering is a space where you can widen your vocabulary, practice conversational English and reading comprehension, and perfect your writing skills.
The aim is to accomplish this through lessons that are personalised to your interests and needs.
- Practicing conversational English.
- Text commentary.
- Book/ film reports (to practice listening comprehension and writing.)
Recommended lesson length is 1h, once or twice a week.
Lesson plans will be adjusted to the interests and needs of the student. I want my lessons to be as inclusive as possible so don’t be shy and tell me what you need!
