About Gabriela
I am a bilingual Spanish and English speaker who is patient, kind, and supportive, and I enjoy helping others feel more confident in their English reading and writing skills. I naturally have a calm and understanding personality, which helps me work well with students who may feel shy, nervous, or unsure about their abilities. I try to create a safe and comfortable learning space where students don’t feel judged and can learn at their own pace.
I am organized, detail-oriented, and good at explaining things in simple ways that are easy to understand. I enjoy reading, writing, and storytelling, and I like using creativity to make lessons more interesting and engaging. I am also someone who listens carefully and tries to make people feel comfortable and supported, which helps students open up and learn more confidently.
Because I speak both English and Spanish fluently, I can help explain difficult ideas in a clear and easy way for Spanish-speaking students. I am a patient and supportive bilingual tutor who helps students improve their English reading and writing skills in a calm, encouraging, and comfortable environment. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence while helping students better understand vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, sentence structure, and creative expression.
My teaching method is simple, flexible, and adapted to each student’s level and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel relaxed and understood, so I take time to explain concepts clearly and patiently. I use reading exercises, writing prompts, vocabulary practice, and guided corrections to help students improve naturally without feeling overwhelmed or judged.
A typical lesson may include reading short passages together, practicing pronunciation and comprehension, learning new vocabulary words, and completing writing activities based on the student’s level. I also help students improve sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and overall writing clarity. For students who enjoy creativity, I can include storytelling and creative writing exercises to make lessons more engaging and enjoyable.
