About Alethea
I am an Ontario-certified teacher qualified to teach Kindergarten to Grade 12. I am bilingual and certified to teach French in Ontario.
In addition to my professional experience, I have been tutoring for over a decade in a variety of subjects, with a specific focus on French as a Second Language. I specialize in aiding with second language anxiety and building confidence using the French language by adapting my programming to each specific student.

My methodology is very flexible as I strongly believe no two individuals are the same, nor will they learn the same way. After meeting with an individual I work with them to determine their specific needs and create lesson plans that are tailored to their learning style and abilities. I also believe in utilizing outside resources to reinforce lessons learned and to help enhance learning opportunities such as, songs, video clips etc. I pride myself on trying to make learning as stress free and accessible as possible, with me there is no need to be embarrassed, or worry about making mistakes.
