About Lucy
I am a student of Gender Studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My hobbies include reading, creating, and music! I enjoy reading mythical novels, as well as fiction which touches on social issues that we see in the world around us. I'm also a big fan of music; I listen to lots of different genres and love discovering new artists. I combine these passions in my creative hobbies, writing articles or recording podcasts discussing the things I listen to and read.
As a language learner myself, I am really passionate about the benefits of learning a second language. Through regular practice, reading attentively and widely, and trying new things we can build up confidence in our second language abilities. Self-confidence is integral to progression, and I seek to foster this in my lessons!

My main goal in my classes is to make you feel comfortable and build up your confidence. I want to create a welcoming environment as I know that it can be scary speaking a new language, so I want you to feel comfortable speaking in my classes. I am happy to have free conversation, work on business English, look at grammar, or have some discussions about articles or specific topics. We can work together to find the style which suits you best.
