About Daniela

My name is Daniela Garcia. I am 20 years old and in my third year of university. I study Applied Linguistics at the University of Antwerp. I have specifically chosen the languages English and Spanish. I study and practice these 2 languages every day.

I have always been very good at languages since I was a child. I was raised bilingually because I moved from Spain to Belgium in 2010.

I love to teach and teach other students new things. I also love to share my knowledge with other people. I myself have a lot of patience and explain everything as extensively as possible. So teaching is really my thing! By teaching myself, I am also involved in the languages I study and I do not neglect them, which is another reason why I would really like to tutor.

I also think it is very important that our society is multilingual. This means that I think it is very important that people speak multiple languages. Language barriers often cause problems and if someone can bridge them that is just ideal! To make this possible, I really want to share all the knowledge I have with people who are interested in making our society even better!

About the lesson

I think it is very important that the students feel comfortable with me first. I want to give them a sense of familiarity so that they dare to ask questions and know that making mistakes is quite normal.

I like to start from the basics and once the basics are known I go a step further. I don't like to learn many things at once. I like to work step by step. This is not only good for the student but also for the structure of the lessons. I also like to give feedback both good and bad so that the student has an idea of how he/she is doing.

My lessons are mainly intended for students in secondary or younger who could use some help with the Dutch subject , English and possibly Spanish.
