About Emilie
I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up speaking both French and English. Being bilingual has opened so many doors for me — not just in terms of travel or work, but through the meaningful connections I've made with people I might never have met otherwise. That’s what motivates me to teach French: to help others unlock new experiences and opportunities through language. I’ve tutored a wide range of students, from young children to working professionals. Most recently, I spent two years teaching French to a Japanese student over Zoom — we had a great time, and he made fantastic progress! Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to polish your fluency, I’m happy to tailor lessons to your goals, interests, and preferred learning format.

Speaking Practice (15–20 min): Roleplays, debates, or storytelling to put grammar and vocab into practice. 5. Writing Practice (Optional Homework or 10–15 min in lesson): Short writing tasks: a paragraph, dialogue, or email using the day’s material.

Emilie grew up in a bi-lingual home so her French and English are perfect. She went to an international school where she learnt other languages so she has perfect understanding of the challenges facing students. She is a good listener and is patient and kind. I would highly recommend her to support school work or to improve conversation.
