About Naima
Hello! I’m Naïma, a native French speaker and a bilingual French-English educator with over 15 years of teaching and training experience.
I hold an MBA, a Bachelor of Education, and an official DELF/DALF examiner (correcteur) certification. I am a French language public school teacher. I have taught learners from elementary and secondary school all the way through post-secondary and adult education. I’m also a Business teacher, which gives me a strong understanding of the communication skills professionals need in today’s workplace.
Whether you are a complete beginner, want to build and improve your basic French, or need French for your career or life transitions, I tailor lessons to your level, goals, and pace.
My approach is practical, supportive, and personalized. I want you to feel comfortable speaking French, making mistakes, asking questions, and seeing your progress.
If you’re looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and approachable teacher who can help you use French in real-life and professional situations, I’d be happy to work with you.

**ONLINE FRENCH LESSONS FOR PROFESSIONALS & ADULT LEARNERS**
Need French for work—but want practical French you can actually use?
With 15+ years of teaching and training experience, I help adult learners develop practical French they can confidently use in everyday and professional situations. I’m a bilingual French-English educator, business teacher, MBA graduate, and an official DELF/DALF examiner (correcteur) with experience in K–12, post-secondary and adult education.
I work with learners from complete beginners who are starting French from scratch to those who already have basic French and want to strengthen and improve their skills.
Because I also teach business and have an MBA, I understand the professional context behind the language. Lessons can be tailored to your specific goals, whether you want to learn everyday French, communicate more confidently at work, prepare for a bilingual position, or prepare for a French-language exam.
**Lessons can focus on:**
• French for complete beginners
• Building and improving basic French
• Everyday conversation and communication
• Workplace conversations and meetings
• Professional emails and written communication
• Presentations and speaking with confidence
• Job interviews and professional introductions
• Client and colleague interactions
• Business and workplace vocabulary
• Grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary
• Building confidence in a bilingual work environment
• TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français) preparation
• TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) preparation
• DELF and DALF preparation
• Second Language Evaluation (SLE) preparation
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all textbook, I adapt lessons to your level, needs, role and goals.
Lessons combine practical conversation, structured instruction, vocabulary development and targeted feedback. I can also provide a summary of key language points and vocabulary to help you continue practicing between sessions.
Whether you’re starting French from scratch, improving your basic French, preparing for an exam, or getting ready to use French professionally, we’ll focus on the French you actually need.
