About Kelly

Hi! I'm Kelly (翠婷). I grew up bilingual and have been speaking both Mandarin and English since young. I have lived in both Singapore and London and I'm currently completing a Masters in Law in London. 我是翠婷（Kelly）。我从小就学习双语，普通话和英语都说。我曾在新加坡和伦敦生活过，目前正在伦敦攻读法学硕士学位。 I scored A2 and Distinction in my Higher Chinese examinations (after studying it as a formal subject in school for 10 years) and have topped my school for English and English Literature. I graduated in the top 5% of my law cohort in my undergraduate studies. 我的高级华文考试成绩为A2，并取得优异的成绩（此前我在学校学习了10年华文作为正式科目），英语和英国文学专业也位列全校第一。我的本科法学专业成绩在同届同学中排名前5%。 I have a strong grasp of both languages and have the tools and experiences necessary to help guide you through either language, regardless of whether you are a native Chinese or English speaker. 我精通两种语言，拥有必要的工具和经验，无论您的母语是中文还是英语，都能帮助您掌握其中一种语言。

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a patient and enthusiastic language tutor offering Mandarin and English lessons for beginner to intermediate learners of all ages and levels. My lessons are interactive and practical, focusing on real-life usage, pronunciation, and building confidence. I will invite you to share your language goals with me and I will tailor my lessons to your needs. I have been a native speaker of both languages for my entire life, having lived in Singapore and London. I have experience tutoring A Level students and have helped them achieve Distinction grades in their English examinations. Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes, but I'm flexible depending on your needs. I’m passionate about making language learning enjoyable and accessible. Whether you're learning for school, travel, work, or just for fun, I’m here to support you every step of the way!
