About Victor

Hi! I'm a recent Chemistry graduate with First Class Honors and a strong passion for teaching and science communication. Since 2019, I’ve been helping students through online tutoring and science summer camps, including with ACTUA, where I taught coding and science and later assisted at their national conference. I’m currently working as a researcher in biochemistry and nanomaterials, with a focus on applied bioconjugates. I recently published my first first-author paper in ACS Applied Bio Materials, and I love bringing this real-world science experience into my teaching. Whether you're preparing for the IB, reviewing internal assessments, tackling organic chemistry, or exploring advanced topics like quantum chemistry, I'm here to help! I strive to create a supportive and personalized learning space—bilingual in English and Spanish—to help every student build confidence and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I offer personalized, engaging, and discussion-based lessons for high school, IB (Standard and Higher Level), and early university students. I specialize in helping students understand complex topics in areas like:

- Organic Chemistry
- Analytical Chemistry
- Spectroscopy (IR, UV-Vis emission and absorption, Raman, NMR)
- Biochemistry
- Food Chemistry
- Introductory Quantum Chemistry

I can help simplify concepts for complete understanding and support during exam preparation.

A typical lesson includes a short review of key concepts, targeted practice based on the student’s goals or curriculum, and an open Q&A portion.

I also offer guidance and feedback on Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays for IB students, drawing from my own experience earning top marks in both.
