About Janett
I am a junior at Wellesley College where I am currently majoring in Spanish and Economics. I am learning about the history of many Latin American countries now, and I am also strengthening my ability to tutor in the language by helping my peers who do not understand Spanish.

As someone whose first language was Spanish, I understand how intimidating it may be to learn a new language. I was a teaching assistant at Rian Immigrant Center in Boston where I helped teach ESL and mainly communicated in Spanish with our students, so I know where students struggle when it comes to going from one language to another. I am certified as a bilingual and received the highest score possible in Spanish in the IB program.
