About Felicia
Hi, I’m Felicia, a Chinese tutor living in Shanghai and Hangzhou. I completed my master’s degree in the UK and lived there for nearly two years, which helped me understand different cultures and the challenges of learning a new language.
I love photography, traveling, and learning languages. I’m currently learning Japanese and Korean. As a language learner myself, I know how hard it is to start speaking. I believe language is a bridge that connects people, so I’m here to help you learn Chinese with patience and support.
Please contact me before booking so we can discuss your goals, level, and time zone. I currently don’t teach students under 18.

I have extensive experience teaching Chinese online and offline. I’ve helped many students, from complete beginners to intermediate learners.
I can help you with:
Beginner Chinese
Daily conversation & speaking confidence
HSK 1–6 preparation
Business Chinese / workplace communication
Pinyin, tones & pronunciation correction
Travel Chinese
Chinese culture & real-life topics
My teaching is student-centered. In our first lesson, I’ll ask about your reasons for learning Chinese, your goals, and your current level. Then I’ll create a customized course for you. We’ll use diverse materials, such as HSK textbooks, real-life dialogues, pictures, flashcards, slides, role-plays, and personalized materials. I’ll record your progress and questions, review with you at the end of each lesson, and give you practice after class. I also incorporate your hobbies and interests into lessons, because interest makes learning enjoyable and effective.
