She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Sastra University and has received prestigious accolades, including the esteemed Kala Ratna award. Additionally, she has been honored with titles such as Natya Kalai Viruksham, Natya Sudar, Nrithya Thilagam, and Natya Sudar Oli. Her expertise has been showcased through numerous performances conducted at various temples, reflecting her commitment to the art form and her substantial contributions to its preservation and promotion.

Admissions for Bharatanatyam classes at Bharatakalaksham are now open, starting from this Vijayadasami. These classes are led by Guru Smt. Janani, a Kala Ratna awardee. The curriculum includes both theory and practical sessions, and children will have the chance to showcase their skills at various temples.
