About Lamar
Years of strumming patterns and acoustic technique have shown me how much music connects people. I recall sitting in my dorm at NYU, realizing that technical skill is merely a gateway to self-expression.
I use my BFA Music Technology degree to help you master barre chords, fingerpicking, and complex chord transitions. Working with adult students, I see the same frustrations with rhythm guitar and ear training.
My approach combines theory with practical improvisation to solve these hurdles. Whether you are prepping for a grade exam or polishing your solos, we move at your pace. Have you considered what kind of guitarist you want to become?
