About Angela
Singing is fundamentally about expression. I teach because music connects us.
Over 7 years of instruction, I have helped 357 students find their unique sound by prioritizing the blend of head and chest voice. I lean into the gospel and blues tradition to teach phrasing that feels honest rather than just technically correct.
My approach is structured underneath a loose, jokey exterior that keeps performance anxiety at bay. Whether I am working with hobbyists, adults, or kids, I ensure the technical side of vocal range extension is handled with clarity. It is simply how we communicate.

Imagine hitting that high note with total ease while your vibrato stays steady and rich. I start every session by focusing on the physical mechanics of breathing and pitch control, drawing on my BFA from Belmont University to explain why certain techniques work better than others. Harmony singing and rhythm are the bread and butter of our time together, regardless of whether you are a performance-focused student or a casual hobbyist. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes.
We break down the barriers between your ears and your vocal cords. This ensures you leave every session with the confidence to handle any stage. I look forward to hearing your voice.
