About Brandon

For two years, I was an assistant coach for my middle school's Science Olympiad, where I lectured on biology and chemistry topics to a classroom of students and answered any questions they had. In addition, I was a one-on-one math tutor for my high school's National Honors Society for one year.

At UC Berkeley, I have taken biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and calculus 1 and 2. In high school, I took the AP equivalents of those classes. I also performed well in olympiad competitions, qualifying for USABO semifinals and scoring top in my region for the ACS Chemistry Olympiad.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Brandon Ha, and I am a second-year Molecular and Cellular Biology undergraduate at UC Berkeley. I tutor biology, chemistry, and math at the high school and college level.

Whether you need me to come up with lesson plans or just answer your questions, I am very flexible and can help you with all of it. As the client, you get to choose how the sessions are conducted.

If you prefer I come up with my own lesson plans, tutoring sessions will be a mix of my lecturing and also giving you practice problems to help reinforce your learning. For online lessons, I will be using a digital whiteboard and use my tablet and stylus to write. After that, I will then provide relevant practice problems for you to do.

I can tutor at the high-school, AP, and college levels. For regular high-school and college courses, my goal is to make sure you achieve a mastery understanding of the material and earn the best grade possible. For AP classes, I can help with AP exam preparation if you would like me to.
