About Sarahi

As a dedicated Spanish tutor with experience working with children and adult students, I specialize in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that make language learning fun and meaningful. My goal is to help students, regardless of age, feel confident and curious as they build their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. I understand that every child learns differently, which is why I personalize each lesson based on the student’s level, pace, and interests. Whether your child is just getting started with Spanish or needs extra support alongside school instruction, I create a welcoming, encouraging environment where learning feels achievable and enjoyable. With a background in education and a passion for language, I bring structure, patience, and creativity to every session. My lessons include a balance of interactive practice, visual support, cultural connections, and consistent review to help students retain and apply what they’ve learned. Above all, I’m committed to helping each student make steady progress while developing a genuine appreciation for the Spanish language.

Spanish Lessons with a Purposeful & Playful Approach

¡Hola! I specialize in teaching Spanish to young learners, with a focus on building confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation in language skills. My lessons are tailored to support students from upper elementary through middle school, whether they’re just starting out or need help deepening their understanding.

Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach is interactive, engaging, and supportive. I combine visuals, storytelling, games, and real-world examples to make Spanish come alive for students. I use a mix of structured instruction and creative activities to support different learning styles and keep students motivated and involved.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
Each lesson is thoughtfully structured to include:

A short warm-up activity (like a game or review)
A focus on a core concept (vocabulary, grammar, or conversation practice)
Interactive practice through speaking, listening, reading, or writing
A closing recap or fun challenge to reinforce learning
I also incorporate regular check-ins and adapt my pacing based on the student’s needs and confidence level.

What Sets Me Apart
Kid-friendly, patient, and encouraging—I know how to connect with young learners (worked with kids in the past @Stanford)
Experience with curriculum support—great for students following a school program or preparing for middle school Spanish
Culturally rich lessons—I bring in music, stories, and traditions from across the Spanish-speaking world
Progress-focused—I track growth and adjust lessons to help each student reach their goals

Who Are These Lessons For?
Students in 5th grade and above
Beginners or early-intermediate Spanish learners
Kids who need school support, extra practice, or a fun introduction to the language
Families seeking consistent, engaging Spanish exposure at home
