About Karin
Holding a Master of Music from the Schulich School of Music, I sometimes worry that my focus on vocal health sounds clinical. My background as a violinist actually shapes my understanding of phrasing and rhythm in singing.
Most of my students want to balance technical rigor with genuine expression. I teach warm-up exercises that protect the voice while building stamina.
We will explore microphone technique alongside resonance and tone to ensure you sound clear. I enjoy working with people who want to understand their instrument from the inside out. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to start working together.

Singing becomes rewarding when you understand the mechanics behind your sound. I explain belting technique by referencing my formal training to keep your cords safe. You will receive homework vocal drills assigned after every session to solidify your progress. I track your growth using 6.0 metrics that apply to my 468 students.
