About Emily
Teaching provides a unique window into how different people process new languages and sounds. I have taught 334 students over 13 years, focusing on clear communication and practical application.
Whether we are discussing CULTURAL CONTEXT or the subtle differences between Latin American and Castilian variants, my goal remains consistent. I enjoy seeing the moment a student successfully uses everyday phrases during a real conversation. My approach is direct and patient, built on decades of experience in both music and linguistics. It is always a pleasure to support your growth in this rewarding subject.

Starting out feels a bit intimidating, but that is perfectly normal. During a free trial lesson, I will assess your current level to find the best path forward. I leverage my 13 years of experience to make listening practice and travel Spanish accessible for everyone. My Master of Music degree taught me the discipline of consistent practice, which I apply to these 9 sessions.
