About Dawna
Graduating with a BMus Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium gave me the tools to refine your voice. You will find that I bring 10 years of experience to our sessions. I have worked with students ranging from absolute beginners to intermediate performers.
My gigging life as a singer-guitarist across Melbourne for 11 years shapes how I teach. I focus on genre styling including pop, classical, and musical theater.
We fix your microphone technique and balance your head and chest voice. I also provide guidance on pitch control plus diction and articulation for exam preparation. I keep my own music practice honest and grounded.

You hear your own voice resonate clearly in the room during our first meeting. I use my BMus degree knowledge to build your range safely.
My 10 years of experience ensure we focus on what works for your specific goals. We will use my free access breathing and warm-up exercise notes to start.
I hold 6.0 as my specific benchmark for your vocal clarity. These exercises build stamina and control over time.
We keep the atmosphere energetic and focused on your song choices. You get practical feedback on your articulation and tone quality immediately. I stay honest about your progress throughout every single step. Just book a time if you want to get started.
