About Grace
I am looking for people wanting to give piano a go. Whether piano is a second instrument you would like to learn or you are a total beginner, I would love to teach you my piano knowledge! I am working towards my ABRSM Grade 6 I have a distinction in ABRSM Grade 5 music theory. I have taught a family member piano for 1 year and they can now play Grade 3 level pieces. Although I am not a piano master I believe I can offer a fun and interesting path to play piano. I love duets and hearing others play.

In lessons, we will start with using the Get Set Piano books to establish some core basics of sheet music reading and playing piano. Once we have completed these, we can either start to look at Grade 1 pieces or whatever you would like to learn! Any genre or goal you want to aim for I can direct and teach you to completing this. Weekly 45 minute lessons will give you plenty of things to practice each week. If you don’t like the pieces we are doing, we will immediately stop and look at something else as I believe the most important lesson in playing piano is only playing things you enjoy or else you won’t be motivated to practice and therefore, progress on your piano journey.
