About Tru
Hi! I'm Tru, and I'm a beginner-friendly singing coach with several years of high school choir experience.
I know that singing in front of someone can feel intimidating — especially if you've ever thought, "I can't sing" or "I don't know what I'm doing."
That's exactly why I want my lessons to feel relaxed, encouraging, and judgment-free.
I can help beginners work on pitch, breathing, vocal warm-ups, rhythm, harmony, learning songs, and building confidence while singing. I can also help choir students who are struggling with their part or need extra practice outside of rehearsal.
My lessons are adapted to the student. If you're brand new to singing, we'll start with the basics. If you're already comfortable singing but want to improve, we'll focus on the areas that give you the most trouble.
Lessons are held online, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
You don't have to already be a "good singer" to take singing lessons. You just have to be willing to learn.

I have several years of high-school choir experience, where I developed a strong foundation in singing, harmony, rhythm, ensemble performance, vocal warmups, and learning individual vocal parts.
I'm especially comfortable helping beginners who are nervous about singing or aren't sure where to start. My goal is to make singing feel approachable rather than intimidating.
