About Shelly
Hi, I an experienced artist and ex-national competitive painter. I am also a medical student. I enjoy working with oil paints, watercolour, and graphite pencils. My style leans towards semi-realism to realism however enjoy experimenting regularly. People and animals are my favourite subjects to paint.

I can teach you how to draw and paint a range of subjects, from portraits to animals to landscapes. I can guide you in your journey to finding your own style and becoming a confident and proficient artist.
My lessons will involve both theory and technical practice. In our first class, we will focus on your interest in art and goals for our lessons together. Following lessons will involve a mix of teaching and practice as we work together on improving your skills. My lessons are suited for beginner to intermediate artists.
I am most proficient in charcoal, graphites, watercolour, acrylic, oil paint and digital art (Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop). Lessons can be flexible and I can teach you multiple mediums.
