Together, we will explore the fundamentals of piano technique, from producing your first sound to voicing polychords. Similarly, we will develop a foundational understanding of music theory by studying scales, rhythmic notation, and basic harmony. Most importantly, I incorporate content that fits the student's musical interests. For instance, if a student happens to be an Ariana Grande fan, let's work on ear training by trying to learn the melody and chords to "Thank U, Next" by ear. Finally, I intend to help my students build the confidence they need to become powerful performers.
