About Fen
I enjoy lifelong learning and passion for teaching and sharing languages. My experience as a professional teacher in Singapore has enhanced my communication, confidence-building, classroom management and lesson-planning skills, benefiting my students.
Using my extensive experience in the classroom environment, I tailor lessons to individual needs and learning styles, using creative and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable. I aim to create an interactive environment where students feel comfortable participating and having fun along the way, while empowering their language skills and confidence.

Lessons cover basic conversation, pinyin, reading of Chinese characters, simple writing and sentence building, as well as Chinese culture. Learning is supported via engaging realia, flashcards and stories for beginners.
With 10 years experience as a school teacher in Singapore, followed by 12 years of home tutoring experience I look forward to helping others to gain the confidence and experience that comes from mastering a second language.
Lessons range from 30 to 50 minutes.
