About Hamish
I have been a professional brass musician since 2023. I first picked up a trumpet when I was 7 years old and since then have played in a variety of musical groups such as jazz combos, big bands, brass bands, wind bands, and orchestras. Before joining the RNZ army band I was a member of the RNZ air force band for 2 years. My main instrument is the tuba though I am happy to teach any brass.
I live in Christchurch city center and work out past Rolleston so I am available anywhere in and between there depending on your schedule.

I have access to a vast music library of solo pieces and exercises to help you along your journey through brass playing. We can gauge your skill level on the instrument go from there. All skill levels and ages are welcome. I can suggest and provide music for you, though I am also happy to help with material you would like to play.
