About Isabelle
I am currently a second year Education student at the University of Alberta. Majoring in English, I always thrived in ELA and Social Studies. I am passionate about educating children in a mindful and inclusive manner, as I believe that everyone deserves to succeed in the classroom. Plus, reading can be fun!

My teaching philosophy as a future educator is to simply make English Language Arts fun, accessible, and highly influential for every child. When we look at texts in our courses as more than just assignments, we make connections with them and further benefit from the course. I refer back to and think about the texts I studied in English 30-1 quite often – my teacher helped us appreciate them in a meaningful way. I look forward to teaching my future courses in a similar manner!
