I am a graduate currently volunteering at a local primary school assisting with lesson and assessment planning and teaching grade 4-6 maths. I have also offered free lessons to matriculants in 2020 during the pandemic. Both the student s i was assisting got distinctions in mathematics.

I like to keep my students interested during a lesson. I do this by making sure that they actively participate in the teaching and learning process. I first give them notes at the beginning of the lesson, i give the example and do it for them then I do the same example again with them. Then from there I give them examples to do as a class then give them individual activities.
