About Emma
I am a student at Baylor University in my sophomore year, and I was just accepted into their Nursing program in Dallas for the Spring of 2021. Throughout high school, I had several opportunities to tutor my peers in math and science courses, which I excelled in. I went to the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, which is one of the most prestigious schools in the state. Some of the courses I helped tutor for while I was there were biology, chemistry, algebra, and statistics. I also excelled in my English courses, so I am able to help with grammar and writing as well.

For math and science, a lot of material is just memorization, so my teaching method is repetition. From my experience in my math courses, it was beneficial to practice problems over and over again. With science courses, a lot of it is memorization. For example, if you had to memorize the Krebs cycle, one way to achieve this would be labeling a blank diagram to make sure you have memorized all of the required steps. Science will mainly be definitions, but with math, it is key to practice the kinds of problems you will have an exams and/or quizzes to master them.
