About Thomas
I have studied at Sevenoaks School and have completed the IGCSE course. Furthermore, I have tutored students within my school in years 9, 10 and 11 in preparation for their IGCSE exams.
I have informally taught over 30 students, all of which have done well in their exams. I have extensive knowledge of the whole IGCSE/GCSE Biology and Chemistry, course, achieving the top grade of 9 for these subjects.
I'm able to teach the content of these courses effectively as well as give useful exam tips and methods to cope with stress. I am well versed with proven techniques designed to focus one’s school work and spend time productively.
I have further studied Biology and Chemistry at a higher level in the International Baccalaureate program.

I like to teach in manageable sections, ensuring that my student thoroughly understands the content before moving on. Furthermore, I also frequently revisit topics with my students so they can commit essential knowledge to memory.
I have tried and tested different revision strategies and am confident with several study techniques and routines which are essential to improve grades.
Finding specific revision and study strategies to best fit my student allows them to work most efficiently and improve at a greater rate.
I am patient and able to teach all students, regardless of ability, within the GCSE course.
