About Vito
After attending the jazz double bass course at the Santa Cecilia conservatory in Rome, I graduated from the E.R.Duni conservatory in Matera in jazz music and I am currently studying to get the master in electric bass, I played in festivals such as Novisad Jazzfest (Serbia) and the Jazzit fest in Italy, I had the honor of studying for years under the guidance of great musicians of the Italian jazz scene and teachers like Maestro Luca Pirozzi, Maestro Marc Abrams and for years with Maestro Pierluigi Balducci, also I followed masterclasses and studied with artists of the level of Roberto Cipelli, Gege Telesforo, Michele Rabbia and others. I specialize in jazz, from traditional to a more modern language, however I also have experience in genres such as R&B, Neo-Soul and Hip Hop.

I teach electric bass lessons in particular in jazz / pop and world music, providing, if necessary, also a background of harmony, theory and solfege. The lessons that I teach are focused on the needs of the individual student, providing handouts and personal material collected over the years, for this reason I consider it essential to better understand the musical tastes and ambitions of my students before starting the lessons in order to create a program tailored for each student.

Details
I would prefer to teach online lessons or here in Matera were I currently reside but I can move in neighboring areas if it's possible to arrange an adequate reimbursement of transport costs.
