About Simon
Hi, I am Simon Robin. I am a 30-year-old language teacher from Belgium. French is my mother tongue and I've been teaching Dutch for almost 5 years in Brussels. I've accumulated some experience about how to teach a language but I know I still have to learn as my profession always requires a learning curve.
I like human connections and I thrive in seeing them improve in whatever they need to progress.
I emphasize my teaching on the human side of it and I always make sure the students' needs are met and adapt my teaching accordingly.

When I am teaching, I am giving 100% of myself to the pupil's needs. My teaching is based on a trustworthy and secure relationship. By bonding with the learners and making them feel safe, I attempt to make them dare to practice confidently. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, so I let the students make their own trial and errors. But I am always there to guide them.
My lesson plan is based on the ultimate objectives of the course. I adjust my teaching according to the objective of the subject matter.
I like teaching kids and teenagers but I am open to trying adults, too.
