About Léna

About the lesson

I have trained in dance since I was 5 (ballet, modern and contemporary) and am now a professional dancer. I have been a ballet teacher in Switzerland and Santa Barbara and I am currently teaching and performing in the Bay Area.
The classes I offer vary from what your needs are and the location (studio or home) of the class.
If we rent a studio for your class, we would probably start with a warm up on the floor, which is followed by exercises at the barre, and end with exercices in the center.
If we work in your home with limited space, what I offer isn't a traditional ballet class but:
- exercises to build strength and flexibility
- ballet exercises that space and flooring allow
- tips on technique
- help with vocabulary as I speak French
- and more according to your needs

Perfect! Ms. Léna has been a wonderful influence & ballet instructor for our daughter. She is extremely knowledgable, patient, & kind. Perfect! Lena was very professional, nice, and experienced. She observed where my daughter does well and not so well. Lena corrected my daughter’s postures, arms, and alignment. It was a great lesson! We surely will have more lessons with Lena.

The student logged in on time and stayed until the end. It isn't easy to stay focused on the screen at such a young age and I hope to teach her in person one day.
