About Amanda
With a BA in elementary education, I am passionate about lifting people up and helping them to succeed. I have recently completed an 11 week TEFL course (teaching English as a foreign language) and am thrilled to begin teaching English! I am extremely professional yet personable as I take a genuine interest in each student as I aim to meet them where they are at in their English learning process. I thrive off of building connections with people of all walks of life and love learning about different cultures. I love music, (both playing and singing :) ) , philosophy, climbing, exploring nature, animals, and traveling. I believe that I approach life with an "always learning" attitude as I believe the learning journey is never ending!

Lesson plans involve a wide range of interactive, animated, and engaging material that best fits learners needs such as worksheets, learning through pictures and videos, games, quizzes, etc. Lesson plans are curated to the individual and the student's learning goals are at the forefront of each lesson plan. I am an extremely personable educator and I believe that I take a genuine approach to ensuring student's achieve their learning goals, wherever they may be in the English learning process.
