About Blake
I studied Saxophone Performance at Vanderbilt University, where I built a strong foundation in classical saxophone. I have experience performing in a variety of settings such as bands, orchestras, and jazz bands. I have previously taught middle and high school students, and I enjoy helping students develop confidence, musicality, and a strong technical foundation.
I believe in creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions, enjoy the music, and feel motivated to practice.

I believe that everything starts from a proper fundamental, and having fun while doing it!
In my lessons, we will focus on building a solid foundation through tone development, technique, repertoire, and effective practice strategies. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether they want to play for fun, learn songs, or seriously prep for auditions!
Lessons are great for beginners all the way to intermediate advanced players. Middle and high schoolers are welcome!
