About Kumai
I was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I studied in an international school with a SABIS system curriculum. I have always been enthusiastic about education and it is one of my strongest beliefs that children have something to teach us back. I always enjoyed the process of breaking down concepts to make them easy enough for anyone to understand and many of my daily encounters require my utilization of this skill as I would generally be either explaining a subject or a product to most of the people I meet.

My approach to teaching is quite simple, adapt.
On average, my classes last around 45 minutes to an hour, during which I focus on paying attention to which methods my student seems to enjoy learning through. I do that by observing how engaged they are in their work when using different methods like SCA (Student Centered Approach), Hi-Tech/Low-Tech Approach, Creative/Logical Approach, Art/Illustration based Approach, or Example/Experiment based Approach, I don't think there are bad students, we all pay attention in different ways and enjoy absorbing information in different styles, and I see it as a skill to be able to change and adapt your teaching style to your students learning style, a skill that I have been consciously developing and working on throughout my teaching and sales careers.
I offer the first class for free to get to know the student, the learning style preferable for their benefit, and the material chosen by their educational institute. I teach classes from 5th grade up to 11th grade (middle/high school).
I have mainly been teaching English and Math classes over the past five years with most of my math classes revolving around geometry and statistics.
