About Amber
I have been playing piano and singing for 34 years. I have a Bachelors degree in music and have been teaching for over 15 years. I’ve also performed all over the world in front of hundreds of thousands of people. I adapt my lessons based on the students’ music interests and skill level. I’m super patient and know how to teach any style and make sure my students understand what they’re learning. I teach at my home, I travel to students’ houses, and do online remote lessons, whichever works best for my students.

I absolutely love teaching! My students range from 4 years old to over 60 years old. I adapt my curriculum based on the interest of the student. I like using a combination of classical training, so the students can read from staff. Also, music theory, ear training, eye training, repertoire, and performance etiquette for recitals or playing in front of audiences. If my students enjoy pop, rock, etc, I teach them how to learn tablature, and how to play piano and sing at the same time. I always have a bond with my students, want them to develop confidence with their skills, and most importantly foster their passion for expressing themselves through music.
