As a tutor, I focus on making English approachable, practical, and personally relevant. My teaching method blends structure with flexibility—I design each lesson around the student’s goals and learning style, whether that’s conversational fluency, academic writing, or exam preparation. I begin by identifying what each student finds challenging or intimidating about English, then create clear, achievable objectives for every session. A typical lesson starts with a brief warm-up or discussion to gauge confidence and mood, followed by focused practice in grammar, reading comprehension, or writing development. I incorporate real-world examples, from articles, short stories, or current events, to help students connect language skills to meaningful content. What sets me apart is my communication background and four years of tutoring experience, which allow me to teach English not only as a subject but as a skill for expression, confidence, and critical thinking. I prioritize dialogue, adaptability, and encouragement, each student leaves every lesson with something they can use immediately. My lessons are best suited for high school and college students, ESL learners, and anyone seeking to improve writing, speaking, or overall fluency in English.
