About Lachy
I am a second-year uni student majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a specialty in Aerospace Engineering. Growing up, I always excelled in math and have always loved the subject, hence my future will continue to involve a lot of math.
I want to be a tutor because I want to share my experience with math and help others enjoy the subject as I did. Mathematics is not easy, but once you understand it, math can be fun. So I want to share my love for a subject that many people grew up resenting.

My teaching methods/techniques involve a hands-on approach. It is one thing to understand the theory behind mathematical equations, but the important part of being a good mathematician is being able to utilise concepts and recognise patterns. So my lessons would be more interactive and involve me asking you questions based on the maths area you requested to study, and providing tips and tricks to make math easier for you. I have brief experience with tutoring, having run a couple of sessions for a student completing year 10 math. I would be happy to tutor anyone from years 9 to 12 of any ability.
