About Caitlin Sandra
Hi! I’m Caitlin, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science student at UC Davis studying Computational Cognitive Science. I have a strong background in mathematics, including:
• 5 on AP Calculus AB
• 5 on AP Statistics
• Completed the UC Davis calculus series
• Coursework in linear algebra
As a current student myself, I understand how much of a difference a patient and supportive teacher can make. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and working through concepts at their own pace. My goal is to help students improve academically while also becoming more confident solving problems independently.

I believe math becomes much easier when it is explained in a way that makes sense to each individual student. My lessons are personalized to the student’s learning style, current level, and goals. Depending on what you need, lessons can include:

• Reviewing concepts from class
• Extra practice in areas that need improvement
• Building problem-solving skills and confidence
I focus on helping students understand why a solution works rather than simply memorizing formulas. I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students and tailor each lesson to what the student is currently learning.
