About Jasmine
This year, I am working as an ESL teacher in ELA and math classes in Boston Public Schools. Over my teaching career, I have worked with all ages, from pre-K to 12th grade. I love teaching, especially when I can make it fun! I greatly look forward to tutoring.

I use a variety of teaching methods, including the use of visuals, physical manipulatives, and contextualized problems.
A typical lesson plan consists of a review of the previous lesson, a mini lesson of new content, a practice problem together (including modeling), and individual work time with opportunities for questions.
As someone who has studied education for four years and is now pursuing a Master's in it, I feel confident that my knowledge and experience will greatly help my students.
These lessons are available for any student grades 1 through 12. I have personally taken AP Calculus AB and Statistics so I may use personal experience to help students preparing for these advanced tests. My knowledge is strongest in pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.
