About Rudjelle

Hello! I’m a dedicated nurse with a passion for both science and music, offering tutoring in these unique areas. My background in healthcare gives me in-depth knowledge of biology, chemistry, and anatomy, which I love to break down for students in ways that make learning approachable and engaging. Alongside science, I have a lifelong love of singing and a strong foundation in vocal technique, so I can guide you in building both confidence and skill in music. Whether you're tackling scientific concepts or perfecting your vocal range, I’m here to help you succeed in a supportive, creative environment!

About the lesson

Here's a structured 5-step lesson plan for a beginner singing class:

Step 1: Warm-Up Exercises (5-10 mins)
Begin with gentle vocal warm-ups, like lip trills and humming.
Include breathing exercises for breath control and posture alignment.
Step 2: Vocal Technique Practice (10 mins)
Introduce core techniques, such as breath support, resonance, and diction.
Practice scales to develop pitch accuracy and vocal range.
Step 3: Ear Training (10 mins)
Practice interval recognition and pitch matching through call-and-response exercises.
Use a piano or app to help students identify pitches and intervals.
Step 4: Song Practice (15 mins)
Select a simple song to apply learned techniques. Focus on phrasing, dynamics, and expression.
Encourage students to practice each verse slowly, paying attention to tone.
Step 5: Review and Feedback (5 mins)
Recap techniques and give constructive feedback.
Set a specific practice goal for the next lesson (e.g., improving breath support, memorizing lyrics).

Here’s a quick lesson plan for a science tutoring session:

Step 1: Set Objectives and Review (5 mins)
Begin by discussing the session goals and reviewing previous material or homework.
Check the student’s understanding of key terms or concepts to set a foundation.
Step 2: Concept Introduction (10 mins)
Introduce a new concept, breaking it down into simpler parts.
Use visual aids, diagrams, or analogies to make complex ideas more accessible.
Step 3: Hands-On Activity or Example Problem (15 mins)
Work through a sample problem or hands-on activity that applies the concept.
Allow the student to try it independently, offering guidance as needed.
Step 4: Q&A and Clarification (5 mins)
Address any questions or uncertainties, clarifying tricky points.
Encourage the student to explain concepts back to reinforce their understanding.
Step 5: Recap and Assign Practice (5 mins)
Summarize key points covered and give specific feedback.
Assign a short practice problem or reading to reinforce the lesson before the next session.
