About Dru
I remember being blown away by my first assignment while studying photography. Spending time researching a skill I enjoyed so much was a game changer, one I’ll never forget experiencing. I want to bring that experience to more people. Your photography journey is unique to you, so I’m not going to pretend I know better when it comes to you enjoying your craft. But what I can share is 10 years of industry experience and an additional 3 years of tertiary education in a way that is approachable, enjoyable and above all sustainable. I all things photographic, from gear, to work, to planning and even editing! I get to the end of each week looking forward to shooting more and wishing I could squeeze more shoots in, so I’d love to pass that motivation on to other photographers - something that discerns us and makes us memorable when compared to the every day phone photographer.
My love for creating meaningful content has pushed me into a diverse range fields, including weddings, corporate, events, commercial and product photography. Taking a camera everywhere is apart of what makes me, me. If you’re reading this, I know that desire is in you and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Photography is a practical vocation. It is essential for students to engage in the physical world with their camera to learn what it means to be a photographer. These are referred to as pracs.
Some theory is necessary to understand the power of images and this can be delivered face to face or online. These are referred to as tutorials or tutes.
Lessons start at just 30 minutes for tutes but do increase to a 1 hour for pracs.
As a working photographer with a degree in photographer I can help you into the right path to be the best photographer you can be. These lessons are for all ages and are flexible enough to work into your busy schedule.
