About Valerie
Patient guidance defines my approach as I draw on 11 years of experience to help you navigate the fretboard. I remember sitting with cassette tapes and basic tabs, slowly figuring out the sounds by ear before formalizing my training at the University of North Texas. This blend of self-taught curiosity and structured theory informs how I guide students through fingerpicking, power chords, and music theory.
Helping you build confidence is my main goal. We will also spend time on essential maintenance like tuning, barre chords, and blues progressions. It is truly fun to see students light up when a difficult pattern finally clicks into place.
