Holding a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium provided the foundation for my 13 years of experience in the industry. The feeling of resonance blooming in the chest during a perfect vocal warm up is a sensation I share with all 159 of my students. Through careful instruction in head and chest voice, along with complex genre styling, we turn raw sound into polished performance. My background as an expat musician informs the way I teach pitch control and harmony singing.
I treat each voice as a unique instrument requiring specific, attentive care to thrive. It is genuinely rewarding to watch a student gain the confidence to stand on a stage and sing with total freedom. The process of building technique is a long, deliberate journey that I find very satisfying to navigate alongside a pupil.
