About Nuzhat
Hi! I'm Nuzhat, a bachelor's graduate from UofT with a strong background in Biology and the Life Sciences and several years of experience supporting students through tutoring and teaching. I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome the frustration of feeling stuck and watching their confidence grow as concepts begin to make sense.
I believe every student learns differently, so I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand where each student is struggling before adapting my teaching to suit their learning style. Whether you're a visual learner, someone who benefits from step-by-step explanations, or someone who needs extra practice to build confidence, I will tailor our lessons to help you succeed.
Outside of tutoring, I'm passionate about education and lifelong learning. I enjoy spending creative ways to make challenging topics easier to understand through visual explanations, real-world examples, and interactive learning. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities.

Hello! My name is Nuzhat, and I have a bachelor's degree with a strong background in Biology and Life Sciences, along with previous tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping students understand biology in a way that feels approachable, engaging, and confidence-building.
I tutor high school, college, and university students in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Genetics, and Physiology. Whether you're preparing for exams, working through assignments, or trying to improve your grades, I tailor every lesson to your individual learning needs and goals.
My teaching philosophy is simple: If a concept can be explained clearly, anyone can learn it. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. One of my favorite tutoring approach to us is "Explain it like I'm 5" without oversimplifying the science. I use visual aids, diagrams, real-world examples, active recall, and interactive activities to make learning more engaging and memorable. When appropriate, I also like to gamify learning to keep lessons enjoyable and motivating.
Before teaching a topic, I take the time to understand exactly where you're struggling. Instead of giving every student the same lesson, I identify knowledge gaps and adapt my explanations and study strategies to suit your learning style. My goal is to help you truly understand the material, not just memorize it for an exam.
I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing the skills they need for long-term academic success. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
