About Raymond
"Rhythm guitar and reading tabs are the foundations of a solid player. Learning an instrument should feel like playing a game rather than doing chores. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Industry from Belmont University and use that knowledge to keep things practical. My time is split between performing in San Francisco and helping students grow as musicians.
I have spent 13 years refining my approach to guitar instruction. It is all about the music. I work with advanced learners, returning players, kids, performance-focused students, and teens who want to get better. My goal is to help you achieve your specific dream of playing a song at a party or recording an EP."

"Sometimes people get stuck when trying to coordinate their hands on the fretboard. It feels like the strings just do not want to cooperate with your brain. I focus on electric technique, fingerpicking, ear training, and proper tuning or maintenance to smooth out those bumps.
You can expect a monthly recorded review of progress so we can track exactly how far you have come. These check-ins highlight what is working and what needs a bit more attention. I look forward to hearing you play your first complete song."
