About Olivia
As a recent graduate of the SFU Faculty of Education, I bring not only a solid foundation in teaching methods, but also the passion and curiosity of someone who’s just stepped into the field with fresh eyes. I approach each lesson with energy, patience, and a strong belief that learning should feel empowering—not intimidating. Throughout my teaching experience, I've had the privilege of working with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, language abilities, and learning styles. This has taught me that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education. I tailor my lessons to meet each student where they are, whether that means slowing down to reinforce the basics or challenging them with more advanced material. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and make mistakes—because that’s where real growth happens.
