About Tanya
I come from an interdisciplinary background in Economics and Computer Science, but have always found joy in relating these subjects to each other. I eventually did a PhD in Electrical Engineering (in the States) and am passionate about pedagogy. My goal is to help you fundamentally understand the material from first principles and find ways to be creative with it, which (I believe) will induce a lifelong love of learning.

I provide individualized support, after learning about the student's learning style. Prefer a holistic, nurturing way to teach. My methodology is that the student should eventually seek to fundamentally understand phenomena/principles and not simply apply them or perform rote memorization.
A lesson is typically an hour. I teach secondary school curriculum (O, IGCSE, A) for Economics, potentially University-level as well if needed.
